Boutique Hotel Portorose, Portoroz

The hotel rooms were huge with a balcony, but we encountered a challenge with mosquitos, spiders, and flies, leading to an immediate need for anti-mosquito products. Despite that, the rooms were big, clean, and had new furniture, providing a comfortable stay.

The hotel offered both positive and negative aspects during my stay. The rooms were a bit disappointing, smelling dirty with old furniture, and damaged facilities, making it feel more like a hostel than a boutique hotel. However, they were spacious, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. The presence of mosquitoes, spiders, and flies was off-putting but manageable. The service was lacking, as the staff did not address the room issues effectively, offering no solution. On the bright side, the location was excellent, being a 5-minute walk to restaurants, shops, and bars, although not centrally located. While the dining experience was somewhat chaotic, with staff struggling to maintain the buffet, the food was decent. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory but not exceptional.

I stayed in the dependance of the hotel, and overall, had a comfortable experience. The room was big and comfortable, but I did notice that the guest information book in the room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The location was ideal for my purpose, allowing me to park for free after check-out, although it didn't offer a sea view and was a bit far from any reasonable beach.
